NORM Decontamination

HydroChemPSC owns and operates a NORM (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material) decontamination facility in Gibson, Louisiana, and a staging facility to support site remediation in Marshall, Texas. These two facilities enable oil and gas companies to remain in compliance with state and federal regulations while protecting the public and the environment by safely removing NORM materials in controlled settings.

We have successfully completed thousands of NORM remediation/decontamination projects in operating gas plants, refineries, paper mills, and chemical plants as well as abandoned oilfield sites. Holding NORM-specific licenses in Louisiana and Texas and obtaining reciprocal agreements in other states allows us to remediate NORM-impacted sites and equipment nationally. We have recently expanded our geographical cover area to include the Permian and Delaware Basins as well as South Texas. Capabilities include NORM and site remediation services as well as facility maintenance and asset retirement.

From training to site surveying, project completion, and final regulatory reporting, you can trust our teams with your environmentally sensitive NORM issues.
